Franz Witte

We hired Patrick with Franz Witte to do a redo design on our front and backyard. Including hardscaping and lighting. They did a fantastic job. There were a few delays and mis communication. But I was always able to get a hold of Patrick and get answers and resolve. All in all he designed a great enjoyable landscape oasis for us! We will enjoy for years to come.

I have been wanting to go here since they opened thinking it would be a nice nursery to purchase from. 

Appearance:  When you walk in, everything is situated nicely and easy to find what you're looking for.

Service: 1 Star.  The people that tried to help appeared as though we were inconveniencing them.  Rude cashier assisted others when we were next in line. She continued to be rude throughout the transaction.  

Plant Health:  Some plants looked to be mostly dead, others had weeds in the pots. Not maintained and lacking appearance.

Overall, I was very unimpressed with my experience.  Customer Service is everything to me and they are severely lacking. Don't go here if you need help identifying plants or enjoy an experience where the employees have good customer service.  You get better help at the Fred Meyer nursery.

So we live practically down the street from this nursery and have been dying to stop in and look at all that they have to offer. We see their gardeners in our subdivision once a week and they do a great job. They have a lot of services obviously that they offer that we haven't even started to tap into. Our backyard is a complete blank slate and we are just starting to figure out what we want to do with it. We went there yesterday to look at trees as just a starting point. The gentleman that we spoke to was wonderful and had such a huge knowledge that I think we know exactly what we want now. we did go to a couple more nurseries after the fact and their price point was right on with everybody else and they seem to actually give you a little bit more for the money.

If you are a plant lover, this is a dream stop. My stops have been in the winter and I am always impressed with their plant options. I HAVE to make it out in the summer to be even more impressed with the plant options. I don't think it is a good idea to come out here for the summer though, I/you might max out credit and buy everything. ;)

Along with a ton of amazing/weird plant options, there are some fun house items in the main entrance shop. Since I am obsessed with house plants, I don't need to buy anything but house plants so I don't really pay attention to the shop. I am always pulled to the back greenhouse by small and large plants whispering, "take me", "choose me". (Those are the plants talking to me).

After touching 100 - 1000 leaves each time I am in here and reading plant bios, I leave with my newly adopted plants in tow, regulating my self to only two plants a visit. If you love plants too, make sure to put a buying cap or you too will want to leave with all the plants. Or don't but don't say I didn't warn you.

Just so you are prepared, these aren't "normal" plants that you can buy at a basic hardware or corner store, this is a magical plant shop. With it being a magical plant shop, comes a price. Expect a large portion of the plants you look at to be pricey, hence to two plant cap.

Just go, check out the magic, and see you there in the summer, when I bring a trailer to get all my plants home with me. :)

Love this nursery. Very helpful employees if your able to get one. Wish there were more signs around that clarified what is in the area. If you don't find an employee you would have to accidentally find it. Loved doing that when I was younger but now I use a walker.

They have a big selection and a beautiful inside with many lovely things.

Courteous checkout employees that work hard to see your order is rung up quickly and accurately

I absolutely love this nursery!! They always have an amazing selection of plants, flowers and garden/home decor and goods to choose from! I could spend hours soaking this place in!!

I bought a $152 Rainier Cherry tree and it died before I could plant it. None of the other 5 trees I bought (all from other stores) failed so I know it's not me. They would not return or exchange for me since it was outside the 30 day window. I think this speaks to not only poor customer service, but poor quality plants.
I will not be shopping there again nor will I recommend them.

Still waiting for a call back for landscape and hardscape. It's been 3 days since I filled out the online form.

Very good selection of trees and plants and a friendly staff that are knowledgeable and always willing to help. We also had a tree delivered and planted for us and we couldn't be happier with the service.

I recommend shopping elsewhere. Poor customer service and no faith in there own product. My wife bought six fruit trees within two weeks this spring and the only one that didn't make it was from Franz Witte. They referred to a 30 day guarantee when she asked for a replacement or refund (what tree does inside 30 days?) and didn't even offer her a discount to keep a customer. Zamzows, Home Depot and Lowes all charge less, offer up to a 1 year guarantee on trees and plants, and are more accommodating of customers.
